How do I create an account?
If you are already a Hardware Resources customer, simply call your Customer Service Representative at 1.800.463.0660 and ask to have a web account created. They will provide you with a password.
How can I become a Hardware Resources customer?
Simply click the "Opportunity" link on the right of this page. Fill out a short form, and a qualified representative will contact you directly.
ORDERS
How do I place an order?
  • When you have placed the items you want to purchase into your cart, you can select the Checkout link on the left hand side of the page. (It will be under your user info when you have logged in.)
  • Once you click the link, you will be taken to a secure page where you can confirm your items and enter your billing, shipping and credit card information.
  • Once this is complete, the last step is to submit your order.
  • Is there a minimum order amount?
    We feel that the more products you purchase from Hardware Resources, the more valuable your resource is. However, we only require that the minimum order be $25 or more, not including shipping and handling.
    Will I receive an order confirmation?
    Yes! Order confirmations are sent via email through the email address you specified when you created your account.
    When should I expect to receive my order?
    If the items ordered are in stock, your order will generally be sent out the same day it is received, using standard shipping. Orders to Alaska and Hawaii use second day air.
    PRODUCTS/CATALOGS
    Can I receive a catalog?
    You may download a digital PDF version of our catalogs by clicking the "Catalogs" link on the lower right of your screen. If you would prefer a printed catalog, please contact our Customer Service Department at 1.800.463.0660.
    Can I receive samples?
    Please contact our Customer Service Department at 1.800.463.0660 to request samples.
    RETURNS
    What is the return policy?
    If you are unhappy with your product, simply call us at 1.800.463.0660 to obtain a Return Authorization. All requests for returns must be made within 30 days of the time of invoicing. We do not accept returns on custom orders, such as drawer boxes.

    All damage must be reported immediately. LTL deliveries must have the damage noted on the delivery receipt.

    All shortages must be reported immediately. LTL deliveries must have shortages noted on the delivery receipt.

    When applicable, a restocking fee of $25 or 10% (whichever is greater) shall be applied.
    SALES TAX
    Do you charge sales tax?
    In addition to the price of your purchases, Hardware Resources will charge you sales tax based on your shipping address and the sales tax rate in effect at the time your order is billed. Hardware Resources will provide an estimated dollar total of your order including tax and any applicable shipping charges at the time you place your order. If the sales tax rate for the state to which your order is being shipped changes before the product is shipped, the rate in effect at the time your order is invoiced will apply. The invoice that Hardware Resources sends to you will include any applicable sales tax. If you have a Sales Tax Exemption Certificate, we must have it on file before shipment occurs to be Exempt.
    You have my Exemption Certificate. Why am I still being charged sales tax on some orders?
    To be Exempt, you must have a Sales Tax Exemption Certificate for the state to which your order is shipped. If you are drop shipping your order to another state, sales tax will apply. For Example:
    • Bill to state: CA / Ship to state: CA = CA Exemption Certificate Required to be exempt.

    • Bill to state: CA / Ship to state: TN = TN Exemption Certificate Required to be exempt

    SHIPPING
    What are your shipping charges?
    We will ship your order in the fastest, most economical manner available. If your order meets your prepaid freight limit, you qualify for FREE shipping.

    Please Note: Even if you qualify for free shipping, if delivery to your location requires special equipment and/or additional charges from the freight carrier (appointment fees, lift gate fees, residential fees, etc.), you will be billed for those fees.
    Can I get overnight shipping?
    Overnight shipping is not available via our website. If you need to ship your order overnight, please contact our Customer Service Department directly at 1.800.463.0660.
